Publications
Publications are the foundation of scientific research. They are not only essential for determining the feasibility, acceptability, or efficacy of new interventions, but they also serve as a crucial tool for advocating (technology-supported) rehabilitation to policymakers, helping to drive change and improve patients' lives.

Empowering sickle cell disease care: the rise of TechnoRehabLab in Sub-Saharan Africa for enhanced patient's perspectives
Sickle-cell disease (SCD) poses significant public health challenge in Africa, requiring innovative solutions to improve patient care and address complications such as neurocognitive, motor, and respiratory issues. The TechnoRehabLab in Lubumbashi exemplifies a shift towards technology-supported rehabilitation, utilizing tools like virtual reality, serious games, and transcranial Doppler to deliver accessible, tailored interventions, and calls for broader support from governments and organizations to expand similar initiatives across Africa.
Mobile health solutions: An opportunity for rehabilitation in low- and middle income countries?
mHealth offers a promising, low-cost solution for enhancing patient care and rehabilitation in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) by increasing access to services and promoting patient adherence to treatment plans, especially in remote areas with limited healthcare resources. Despite these advantages, there is a lack of studies on mHealth implementation in LMICs; this study reviews existing evidence, identifies challenges, and proposes a 10-point action plan to facilitate adoption across macro, meso, and micro levels.
